Some laws Los Angeles dog owners and Los Angeles dog walkers should be aware of:

All dogs over four months old that live in the City of Los Angeles must be licensed. The annual license fee for dogs that have been spayed or neutered is currently $20. Low income seniors can get licenses for $10.

A dog license requires a rabies vaccination certificate from a veterinary.

Dog license tags are required to be attached to your dog’s collar or harness and must be worn whenever they are outside your property. Dogs must also be leashed outside their property.

All dogs must be spayed or neutered after the age of four months. Unless they fall into the exempt category, such as service dogs.
